Client: Aflac has offered a full suite of supplemental, health-related insurance policies worldwide for over 60 years. When accidents or critical illness occur, these optional policies pay for uncovered costs such as deductibles and copays.
Challenge: Forrest T. Jones (FTJ) Insurance is a national leader in marketing and administrating cost-saving life and health insurance programs to professional associations. FTJ wanted to offer Aflac’s supplemental insurance to their 250,000-member educational association, many of whom knew nothing about this type of coverage.
Solution: As this was FTJ’s first time working with Aflac, the marketing team adhered closely to Aflac’s brand guidelines in creating an introductory email. We incorporated an actual example from their website that dramatically shows how supplemental insurance helped a former customer save a significant amount of money.
